The Series 3800 Vehicle Intercom System is engineered to solve the problem of communicating in high-noise environments with a mobile vehicle platform. Fire apparatus, rescue vehicles, ambulances, command and control vehicles, airline deicers and paint stripers are but a few applications that currently benefit from the Series 3800 system. The U3806 is a simple headset station, used to expand the intercom system beyond the Master Station. It is designed for use at positions where a path for "daisy-chaining" to other intercom modules is required. It includes two headset jacks and two headset listen level controls, as well as three system input/output connectors for running C38-xx Jumper Cord to and from other intercom modules. The U3806 is used for a headset position that does not require radio transmit capability. With a modular design, rugged and weather-resistant enclosures and functional versatility, the Series 3800 intercom system is an ideal solution for any mobile environment requiring crisp, clear communication and effective hearing protection.
