The Series 3800 Vehicle Intercom System is engineered to solve the problem of communicating in high-noise environments with a mobile vehicle platform. Fire apparatus, rescue vehicles, ambulances, command and control vehicles, airline deicers and paint stripers are but a few applications that currently benefit from the Series 3800 system. The U3800 is the "heart" of the system. It provides power to the complete intercom system, automatically adjusting for 12 or 24 VDC power sources. It contains an illuminated system on/off switch, an external 1-Amp slo-blo fuse/holder, MS-type screw-on connectors for power (1 each) and system input/output (2 each). Functional components include 2 each headset jacks to accommodate up to two intercom-only headset positions, individual headset volume controls and a system master volume control. With a modular design, rugged and weather-resistant enclosures and functional versatility, the Series 3800 intercom system is an ideal solution for any mobile environment requiring crisp, clear communication and effective hearing protection.
