The 8798RSS-Z7/4FTGN StretchStop 4' lanyard with SofStop shock absorber is a two-legged tie back line that is designed to stay out of the user’s way in tight situations. The quality 1-3/8” wide, six cord bonded, three strand polyester thread is abrasion and chemical resistant and the connectors pass ASTM 50 hour salt spray tests with flying colors, ensuring a long lasting product. Two steel locking rebar hooks with 2-1/2” gates on each leg connect to anchor points while the 3/4” steel locking snap hook clips securely onto a range of harnesses and belts. The system is designed to carry 310 lbs and provides a cushioned landing that handles up to 900 lbs of arrest force to mitigate secondary fall injuries. This is done with Miller’s ingenious SofStop shock absorber.
