Our Story
Since 1997, the team behind Western Safety Products has worked to provide workers and employers with the crucial equipment that ensures they are able to go home safe at the end of every day. We’ve made lasting relationships with customers both in our Seattle home through a brick-and-mortar store, and with customers everywhere through our website. Working closely with both customers and manufacturers over decades, we’ve built a deep base of knowledge which we are dedicated to using for greater workplace safety.
Our Values
At Western Safety, we believe that values aren’t just what we say, they’re about how we serve you every day. Every time we interact with you, we make sure that we:
-
Communicate quickly to save our customers’ valuable time.
-
Navigate our customers through their purchase with accurate, informed advice.
-
Compete to earn our customers’ business with minimal price markup.
-
Advocate for our customers, even if it means sending them to a competitor.
-
Listen and learn from our customers’ needs and feedback.
-
Educate customers on products and practices to help ensure better safety.
Who We Are
Jason Burgess and Julie Taylor are working hard behind the scenes in our warehouse. Each of them take special responsibility for each of your orders. Eva Torres also helps out in the warehouse, but our customers mainly know her as our delivery driver, the face of Western Safety.
Over the last few years, Riley Mebus has grown into our versatile office manager, handling purchasing, training, and more. We've also got some great support in accounting and e-commerce with Bezawit Tsadik and Michael Sutedja respectively.
We’re proud to have assembled a top-notch sales team with Candace Pledger, and Steve Woinowsky (who you have likely had the pleasure of speaking to if you’ve ever called our office) working in the office with e-Commerce manager Gavin Murphy. Meanwhile, Xavier Cameron takes his work on the road, meeting our customers where they are.
Dawood Niazi works as both our VP of operations and accounting manager, but his willingness to take on any project means he’s involved in every aspect of what we do.
In 2004, Neil Radheshwar started working in our warehouse. He became president of Western Safety in 2019 after building up a wealth of knowledge for all things safety related.
